Nostalgia, the sceptics say, is not what it used to be! - but, for the vast majority of us, Moving Memories provides a fascinating return to childhood hobbies such as Model Railways, Airfix kits, jigsaws and a host of other activities which, until now, have been hibernating in the recessesof our minds. Step back in time, then, to when the summers were always longer and the television – if the family was lucky enough to own one – was in black and white, treated with suspicion and responsible for bringing strange people into the home, including celebrity newsreaders such as Mary Malcolm, Sylvia Peters and ‘heartthrob’ MacDonald Hobley.
